Foundation Celebration "House of Rotary"
Donate Silent Auction Items:
Items sold at the Silent Auction, work the same as cash! The seller and buyer split the Rotary Foundation Credit and both will receive an IRS tax deduction statement. Donate items that are unique, creative and one of kind so they are irresistible to the bidders. Got airline mileage, a timeshare at a special get-away? How about tickets for a popular event, the chance to be treated to a day spa, a lunch or dinner opportunity with a public figure, a round of golf? There is no minimum amount of items that are being requested from clubs. We just ask that your club please donate as many auction items as you can. Turn In Your Drawing Tickets:
You were going to make your annual Foundation contribution anyways, so why not do it by turning in your drawing tickets? You get full Foundation credit on tickets sold and will also receive an IRS tax deduction statement. Sold tickets must be turned in with payment (made payable to District 5280). Tickets turned in by Thursday October 7th will all be entered for a chance to receive 5 opportunity drawing ticket books…that’s 60 more tickets in your name for a chance to win the grand prize. Be Ready To “Let The Good Times Roll”:
The 26th Annual Foundation Celebration “House of Rotary” will kick-off on Sunday November 7th, 2010 at the legendary House of Blues Sunset Strip from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It’s a Mardi-Gras Party! Besides our electrifying silent and live auctions and our rousing drawing prizes, there will be a live New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band, delicious food during the entire event and bars available on all 3 floors. So get your Mardi Gras colors, feathers and beads ready (casual attire). Be ready for a fun and fellowship with your fellow Rotarians, family and friends (ages 13+). Cost for event is $75 per person.
