Peaceful Resolutions Committee
Rotarians, your newly created 5280 committee “Peaceful Resolutions” is a dedicated proactive group of 5 Rotarians whose purpose is to gently assist clubs in resolving their own issues because we believe that “Rotary Friendship Triumphs Over Other Ideologies.”
Our committee consists of Elaine Thompson, Esquire, retired Family Lawyer from West Torrance Rotary; Michael Carbuto, DO Primary Care and Transgender specialist, de Latinos Unidos; Perry Akins, Language Educator from Pacific Palisades; Joseph Delgado, LMFT Restorative Justice from Mental Wellness Club; and PDG, Vicki Radel, Ph.D. Conflict Resolution and Harmonious Relations specialist, from Redondo Beach Rotary.
One of our goals this year is to offer clubs a program on our “Peaceful Resolutions” philosophy for maintaining harmonious relations within all 62 clubs. If you’re interested in us coming to your club let one of us know. We are currently working on a basic peace education curriculum which we plan to unveil soon.
