LIGHTS, CAMERA, ROTARY: A CELEBRATION TO BENEFIT THE ROTARY FOUNDATION

There are moments in Rotary when we come together not just in service, but in celebration of the incredible impact we make as a collective force for good. This is one of those moments.

We are thrilled to invite you to our Sunday, November 8, 2026 Lights, Camera, Rotary: A Benefit Celebrating The Rotary Foundation, an unforgettable Hollywood-themed evening dedicated to fellowship, inspiration, and purpose.

This special event is more than just a night out. It is our District’s opportunity to come together and invest in the life-changing work of the Rotary Foundation. Every dollar raised helps fuel projects that provide clean water, promote peace, support education, fight disease, and strengthen communities, both here at home and around the world.

As Rotarians, we know that our Foundation is the engine behind so much of the good we do.

This celebration allows us to reflect on that impact, share powerful stories, and recommit ourselves to Service Above Self. We encourage every Rotarian to attend and be part of this meaningful evening. Bring your fellow club members, invite friends, and join us in celebrating what makes Rotary so extraordinary.

Keynote Speaker: Thomas Anthony Gump, RI Director 2026-28
Tom Gump says the best part of Rotary is the friends you make. He has traveled the Rotary world, becoming an honorary member in dozens of clubs.
 
Gump embodies the first two words of Rotary’s vision statement: “Together, we.” He has brought in many members and has helped form numerous new clubs, including clubs to serve veterans and seek an end to human trafficking, both of which are the first of their kind in the world. He united five clubs to form a Rotary Community Corps to serve hundreds of refugees, led his district to become the fourth globally to have all its clubs designated as 100% Paul Harris Fellow clubs, brought three districts together to have legislation passed in his state to allow Rotary license plates for motorcycles, cars and trucks, brought together multiple districts to secure the bid for Minneapolis, Minnesota, to host the 2028 Rotary International Convention, and helped formed the Artificial Intelligence Rotary Fellowship.

The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Drawing
The annual TRF Drawing will take place at the Foundation Celebration on November 8, 2026! To be eligible for the drawing, make a contribution to the The Rotary Foundation and follow the instructions below. The "tickets" are $10 each; purchase twelve (12) tickets for $100. Your contributions count towards your Paul Harris credit.
 
Prize money:
  1. First Prize: $3000
  2. Second Prize: $1500
  3. Third Prize: $500
This year, we have a new system- no physical or electronic tickets to fill out! Instead, you will make your contribution directly to The Rotary Foundation and then fill out a simple form (linked below) for your "tickets". Tickets will be automatically generated on your behalf after completing the submission form. We have included instructions tailored to both Rotarians who are buying tickets for themselves and for those who are buying tickets on behalf of their club (helpful for Club Foundation Chairs or Treasurers who prepare the club contributions and tickets each year).
 
Please note that this new system means that no tickets (physical or electronic) will be sent to you. They will be generated electronically and uploaded to our database for the drawing. The deadline to enter the drawing is October 31, 2026.
Buying Tickets For Yourself:
 
  1. Make Your Contribution
    • Visit my.rotary.org/en/donate to make your contribution
    • Select the "Annual Fund-SHARE" option
    • Follow the instructions to make your contribution via credit card
  2. Save Your Receipt
    • After making your contribution, save your payment confirmation (will appear on the screen and will also be emailed to you) to your computer.
  3. Enter The TRF Drawing
    • Complete the submission form below to enter the TRF drawing
    • Upload the copy of your contribution receipt as the last step of the form
  4. Tickets Generated
    • After completing the form, your tickets will automatically be entered into the TRF drawing
    • No physical or electronic tickets will be sent to you.
  5. Drawing On November 8, 2026
    • The electronic tickets will be drawn at random at the Foundation Celebration on November 8, 2026.
    • Winners need not be present (though encouraged!)

  1. Collect Contributions
    • Collect your members' checks (or club check) and fill out the Multiple Donor Form.
    • Select the "Annual Fund-SHARE" option at the top of the form
  2. Make A Copy And Send To The Rotary Foundation (TRF)
    • Make a copy of the Multiple Donor Form and check(s) and save to your computer.
    • Send the Multiple Donor Form and check(s) directly to TRF: 14280 Collections Center Dr., Chicago, IL 60693
  3. Enter The TRF Drawing
    • Complete the submission form below to enter the TRF drawing
    • Select the "Filling out for multiple Rotarians" prompt to enter each Rotarian's contribution
    • Upload the copy of the Multiple Donor Form and check(s) as the last step of the form.
  4. Tickets Generated
    • After completing the form, tickets for each Rotarian will be automatically entered into the TRF drawing.
    • No physical or electronic tickets will be sent to you.
  5. Drawing On November 8, 2026
    • The electronic tickets will be drawn at random at the Foundation Celebration on November 8, 2026.
