2025 Foundation Celebration

Our exciting Rotary Foundation Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 aboard the historic Battleship USS Iowa in San Pedro. This promises to be a memorable evening celebrating the impact of The Rotary Foundation and the incredible work of Rotarians throughout our District. 

 
Tables are being selected on a first-come, first-served basis and your reservation is not confirmed until payment is received.
 
Securing your table early ensures the best available table for your club and helps us plan an unforgettable evening of celebration and fellowship. 
Opportunity Drawing Tickets
Participating in the Foundation Celebration Opportunity drawing Ticket campaign is a meaningful and impactful way for all members of your club to support The Rotary Foundation—and to work toward one of our District’s longstanding goals: ensuring that every Rotarian becomes, at a minimum, a Paul Harris Fellow.
 
By purchasing or selling just $100 worth of Opportunity Drawing Tickets, members contribute directly to Rotary’s efforts to make meaningful and beneficial changes to our world. Even more, offering tickets to friends and family is a wonderful way to share the story of Rotary and may even inspire a new member to join our mission of service. 
 
Prize Levels:
  • 1st Prize: $3000
  • 2nd Prize: $1500
  • 3rd Prize: $500

The online Silent Auction is now open! 

Please register on the auction page before you start bidding. There is no cost to participate in the auction. Peruse all the items we have so far and even start bidding.  We will be adding items throughout the month of October.  The auction bidding will end about 4 pm on Saturday November 1, and bidders will be notified via email or text. How to donate to the silent auction:

Traditionally, our silent auction features baskets and items donated by clubs during the District Governor’s official visits. However, due to space limitations at this year’s unique venue, we are shifting our approach.
Instead of physical items, we request each club to donate a gift certificate or a certificate for an experience that is unique, memorable, and reflective of your community’s character. These experiences should be valued at $300 or more, and appeal to Rotarians who enjoy good food, great company, exciting outings, or exclusive behind-the-scenes opportunities.

Some examples include:
 
  • A certificate to a Club’s fellowship event for 4 to 6 guests
  • Dinner for 6 or more at a Rotarian’s home
  • Stay at a condo or timeshare
  • A VIP or behind-the-scenes tour (ideally hosted by the local Rotarian) at a cultural landmark or institution with lunch or dinner
  • Foursome at a private golf course with lunch
  • Sporting events, concerts (season ticket holders willing to give a game or two)
These offerings bring incredible value to our auction, and we hope your club can showcase its spirit of generosity and creativity. High value items will be considered for inclusion in the live auction segment of the celebration, providing an exciting opportunity for broader recognition and spirited bidding.
 
We ask that your club present your donation certificate to District Governor Alex Parajon during his official visit to your club. The items will be on an online platform to be launched on or about the first week of October 2025.
