2024 Foundation Celebration

THE CAUSE

The District 5280 Committee proudly brings to you the Rotary Bowl. The Rotary Bowl is our district wide effort in raising funds to support The Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Foundation is the mechanism that funds our district community grants, global grants, vocational scholarships and so much more.

The Rotary Bowl will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at the beautiful SoFi Stadium. Rotary Clubs, Rotarians and extended family are welcome to support our fundraising efforts by purchasing a tax-deductible sponsorship package, a table of ten, general admission tickets, program advertisements, donate a live auction item or purchase opportunity drawing tickets for your chance to win up to $2,500.

However you decide to support the event we look forward to having you at this special event in which we celebrate The Rotary Foundation and the life changing work it allows each of us to do day in and day out.

ATTEND THE ROTARY BOWL ON NOVEMBER 2, 2024

Rotarians and extended family are welcome to purchase individual tickets or tables of ten. This year's event is unlike any other- it's a once in a lifetime experience at a Los Angeles landmark. Leave your tuxedos and ballgowns at home- put on your favorite game day attire, comfortable shoes, and get ready to enjoy fabulous food, live music, a live auction and more- all overlooking the beautiful SoFi Stadium!

OPPORTUNITY DRAWING TICKETS

The Opportunity Drawing is a major part of the fundraising for Rotarians and the Rotary Clubs in District 5280. “Every Rotarian, Every Year,” is the motto of Rotary International encouraging Rotarians to contribute annually to The Rotary Foundation. The individual goal is a minimum of $100 each year for every Rotarian. Rotary District 5280 has for many years reached higher, for a goal of $250 with 100% participation.

To help raise these contributions, the Foundation Celebration auctions and drawings began 40 years ago. Rotarians are challenged to contribute while enjoying a special Foundation Celebration event that is different each year and have an opportunity to also win one of three prizes.

Tickets are $10 each and if you purchase ten tickets you receive two bonus tickets (a total of 12 for $100). You could be a winner of $2500 (1^st Place), $1,000 (2^nd Place), or $500 (3^rd Place)!
