Youth Exchange Applications Due

Where Will Rotary Take You? Applications Are Open for 2027–2028 Youth Exchange!

Are you—or do you know—a high school student who dreams of seeing the world, experiencing another culture, and having an adventure that could change the course of their life?

Rotary District 5280 is now seeking students ages 15–18 for the 2027–2028 Rotary Youth Exchange program.

Rotary Youth Exchange gives students the opportunity to spend a school year living in another country, attending a local high school, learning about a new culture, and becoming part of a host family and community. It’s much more than traveling abroad. Students build confidence and independence, develop a global perspective, make friendships that can last a lifetime, and serve as young ambassadors for their families, communities, and Rotary.

District 5280 Rotarians, we need your help finding our next group of students! Think about the teenagers in your family, neighborhood, schools, community organizations, and circle of friends. Sometimes all it takes is one Rotarian saying, “Have you ever thought about being a Rotary exchange student?” to open a door a young person never knew existed.

Applications are now open for the 2027–2028 school year. If you know a student between the ages of 15 and 18 who might be ready for the opportunity of a lifetime, please encourage them and their family to reach out.

Where will Rotary take them? Let’s find out!
