Rotarians and Friends,
There has been a lot of confusion about the date of this event. After discussion several working on the Rotary Kickoff felt it would be best to move the date one more time. Working with 2 organizations - Rotary and Habitat for Humanity - has slowed everything with the need to get agreements and authorizations from both. It seems we have really come together this time.
When we get started, we will help build within District 5280. An area will open in April for those eager to help build homes. Building in the Palisades will be slower with insurance issues, slower getting permits, selecting floor plans, and more.
Attend the Kickoff, January 17, 2026, and learn more about the venues, the registration, and everything anyone needs to know about Build Dates and special projects. There will also be speakers about projects other than Habitat.
When 12 Rotary Clubs came together just before Covid to build 10 beautiful homes in Culver City, the Rotarians have commented that Habitat for Humanity was one of their favorite projects.
Parking is easy and free. Each person attending will be given a folder of information. Lunch will be available. Mark your calendars for January 17, 2026. Watch for more information. Join us for hands on community service!
