Help us feed local families!
Rotary District 5280 is partnering with the LA Regional Food Bank on February 14. Volunteers at the LA Regional Food Bank will help assemble 5 lb. produce bags. Currently, 1 in 4 people in Los Angeles experiences hunger. Fight hunger with us by giving just a little bit of your time.
We will be volunteering at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank sorting and packing produce for over 29,000 families, older adults, and children who face food insecurity in Los Angeles County.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.
- Free parking available on-site; however, is very limited and operates on a first come first serve basis. Carpooling, being dropped off, or bussing in together is strongly recommended.
- All volunteers are required to register individually and ahead of time; no walk-ins will be accepted.
- The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 18.
- For your safety, headphones/earbuds cannot be worn in the production/volunteer area.
DRESS CODE:
- All volunteers must wear closed toe/closed heel shoes.
- Casual, comfortable, and layered attire is recommended. Please be prepared to work in a warehouse with cooler temperatures.
- Ex: t-shirt, jeans, sweater/jacket, tennis shoes
- For safety reasons, please no shorts or tank tops
- Mask are no longer required; however, are strongly recommended.
- Gloves will be provided on-site.
