About our speaker:

Jordan Jerome Harrison is a Chicago native committed to strengthening communities locally and globally through service, leadership development, and purpose-driven action. A proud Rotarian since 2018, Jordan has been an active member of the Rotary Club of San Diego and has spoken at PETS, district conferences, and clubs around the world. He frequently serves as an emcee and facilitator at Rotary events, helping cultivate the next generation of service-oriented leaders and advancing Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self.

As an international professional speaker and leadership educator, Jordan has engaged more than 250,000 individuals across boardrooms, classrooms, juvenile halls, global conferences, and community gatherings. His work focuses on developing leaders who transform systems, expand opportunity, and strengthen communities. He has had the privilege of working alongside heads of state, Grammy Award–winning artists, Fortune 500 executives, and grassroots changemakers, all united by a shared commitment to building a better world.

Professionally, Jordan serves as the Global Lead for Culture across the entire business at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where he helps strengthen organizational effectiveness, collaboration, and leadership development in the pursuit of life-changing medicines. Previously, he spent eight years as Vice President of Community Impact and Partnerships at Reality Changers, mentoring and developing thousands of first-generation, low-income students who collectively earned millions of dollars in scholarships and became college graduates around the world.

Jordan earned his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and his master’s degree from Harvard University, both on full academic scholarships. He is currently pursuing his PhD at University of California San Diego.

Through Rotary and beyond, Jordan’s life and leadership are grounded in a simple belief: when we invest in people and lead with purpose, we change communities and ultimately change the world.
