I am excited to invite all Rotarians to an event that promises to be inspiring, fun, and impactful—the first-ever CultureFest: A Global Journey to End Polio! This special District event will celebrate the diverse cultures that make up Rotary District 5280, while also raising awareness about our ongoing mission to end polio worldwide.

We will kick off the morning with a walk around Verdugo Park to raise awareness about polio and show our collective commitment to eradicating this disease once and for all. Walking together, we’ll highlight the importance of Rotary’s efforts and the power of community.

After the walk, we will be treated to a celebration of the cultures that make District 5280 one of the most diverse in Rotary. Our District is home to Rotarians from every corner of the globe, and this is your chance to experience the richness of those cultures through musical performances, dance, and entertainment. From traditional music to delicious food and local crafts, you’ll learn about and celebrate the vibrant cultures represented in our District.

This is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to connect with fellow Rotarians, expand your understanding of different cultures, and celebrate our shared global mission. It’s a chance to stand united in our commitment to end polio and to embrace the diversity that strengthens our Rotary family.

I encourage you to join us for this one-of-a-kind celebration. Together, we can make a difference in the world, and what better way to do that than by coming together to share our unique cultures and experiences? Don’t miss out on this exciting, educational, and heartwarming day.

See you at CultureFest!
