The Braille Institute is excited to share that the Los Angeles Center will be hosting their annual Student Holiday Lunch on Wednesday, December 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Rotary District 5280 is a proud partner of Braille Institute and has been helping with this event for over 50 years now. We would love to continue this wonderful tradition by inviting you to help “seat, serve, and socialize” at this year’s special event.  The holiday lunch will include food and entertainment. We ask that Rotarian volunteers arrive no later than 10:15 a.m. (please allow time for traffic and parking). There will be a group orientation in Sighted Guide Technique where we will be instructed on how to guide and SEAT a sight-impaired person through a crowded room to their table.   We will then SERVE the students a prepared lunch.  Finally, we will sit with the students and SOCIALIZE while we all enjoy the entertainment provided by the Braille Institute staff.

Please RSVP by Sunday, December 8, to add your name to the volunteer list.  It is possible that we may be limited to 20-25 Rotarian volunteers.
