Rotarians are once again invited to join the Los Angeles Braille Institute of America at their annual Student Holiday Party. We are invited as volunteers to seat, serve, and socialize with the students.  The party will take place on Wednesday, December 10th from 10:30am to 2:00pm. The Braille Institute is located at 741 No. Vermont Ave. in Los Angeles at the corner of Vermont and Melrose, with underground parking off of New Hampshire.

There will be a group orientation in Sighted Guide Technique where we will be instructed on how to guide and SEAT a sight-impaired person through a crowded room to their table. We will then SERVE the students a prepared lunch. Finally, we will sit with the students and SOCIALIZE while we all enjoy the entertainment provided by the Braille Institute staff. SEAT, SERVE, and SOCIALIZE!

Please RSVP to Jim Miceli at 818-395-7473 or JimMiceli@aol.com to add your name to the volunteer list.  It is possible that we may be limited to 20-25 Rotarian volunteers.
