The Rotaract and Interact clubs of District 5280 are leading the third and final District Breakfast of the Rotary year! This youth service-led event is so special we decided to make it a Brunch!  And it's more than just brunch - it includes an optional afternoon of exploring the best of San Pedro.  A discount at the best hotel in San Pedro has also been secured in case you want to make it a true staycation!
 
Speaker: Ann Carpenter, CEO of Braid Theory Opportunities and career pathways in the emerging blue economy
 
Dress Code: Business casual (flat, sturdy, and comfy shoes, please)
 
Service Project (immediately following the District Breakfast): Decorate a "Bowl of Hope" for the Many Mansions org in support of affordable housing. 
 
Collection Drive: Please bring business attire clothing for the Home Again Los Angeles org.
 
Breakfast Schedule: 
9:00am- Check in
9:15am- Buffet opens
10:00-11:00am- Program
11:30-12:30pm- "Bowls of Hope" service project (decorate bowls for the Many Mansions org in support of affordable housing)

12:45-1:30pm- Harbor Boat Tour (45 minutes). Cost is $15/person
 
1:45-3:45pm- Trolley Tour (2-hour tour in and around downtown San Pedro). Cost is $3/person

Spotlight Concert at The Grand Annex Theater:
  • Hear four singer songwriters in one night featuring pop-folk artist Madison Malone - former songwriter for Celine Dion and whose music is featured on TV soundtracks including General Hospital, ABC's 20/20, and PBS's 30 Minute Music Hour - with Brenda Carsey, Kid Lightning and Joseph Eid.

  • Cabrillo Beach & Fishing Pier (up to 2.8 miles, a leisurely and flat walk)
  • Point Fermin Lighthouse and Korean Friendship Bell (up to 3.1 miles and a brisk, uphill walk)
