The District Nominating Committee is now accepting applications for the position of District Governor for the years 2023-24. The requirements are listed below:
In order to be considered to be a District Governor, per RI Regulations, you must:
  • Have completed a full term as a Rotary Club President
  • Be a member in good standing with your Rotary Club and;
  • Have completed at least seven (7) of Rotary membership by the time you assume the role of District Governor.
To be considered for the District Governor role you must:
  • Provide a completed Governor-Nominee and Data form, signed by your Rotary Club's Secretary
  • Completed forms must be received by no later than November 23, 2020
  • Completed nomination forms may either be mailed to the District Office, or emailed to PDG Greg O'Brien (gobrien2012.2013@gmail.com) or to DG Bette Hall (betterhrsolutions@gmail.com)
  • Information regarding your background, qualifications, Rotary positions held, experience and involvement at both the Club and District level must accompany the completed attached Governor-Nominee form.  
  • A brief written statement from you stating why you would like to serve as District Governor will also be helpful to the Nominating Committee.
