The previous Camp Pendleton Collection Drives were such a success we have decided to do it again!

There will be FOUR collection sites – Torrance, Studio City, Bellflower and Santa Clarita.

  • Did you know there are over 70,000 Marines at Camp Pendleton?
  • Did you know more than 160 babies are born to the Marine families each month?
  • Did you know there are 10,000 children under the age of 5?

Many of the Marines are deployed when their babies are born and family and friends may not be nearby.  With very low income most do not have all they need for newborns, and small children, or basic items to set up an apartment.

Rotary Clubs in District 5280 have been very generous to our Marines and it is that time again for us to collect items to be donated to the Warrior Warehouse on the base.

We are accepting new and gently used baby items, small children’s clothes, diapers, baby wipes, etc.  New items may be ordered (Amazon) and shipped to one of the four addresses below.

Also needed are household items – everything a young couple would need to set up an apartment – dishes, pots and pans, silverware, linens, furniture, etc.

The address and contact information for each site is:

  • David Henseler, Rotary Club of South Bay Sunrise
    • 3210 Singingwood Dr., Torrance, CA 90505
  • Jim Miceli, Rotary Club of Studio City-Sherman Oaks
    • 4375 Tujunga Ave., Studio City, CA 91604
  • Rene Mejia, Rotary Club of Bellflower
    • 15701 Santa Ana Ave., Bellflower, CA 90706
  • Jason Downs, Rotary Club of Santa Clarita Valley
    • Call 917-202-4240 for location information

The last day for collections is June 6, 2021. Thank you!
