The Rotary Club of Westchester’s 2013 Home Make Over project was a great example of the community coming together to help a neighbor. With the hard work of Rotarians, contractors and 175 volunteers (including the Boys Scouts and Knights of Columbus), the Westchester Rotary Club repainted, replanted, and remodeled the entire home of Karen Ricks. Karen, her late husband Tim, and their children are long time Westchester residents who contribute their time to the Boy Scouts, Knights of Columbus, the Choral Singers, and other activities that make our community a great place to live.  This was the Rotary Club of Westchester’s chance to give back to them.  Visit the club’s Facebook page to see more photos.
