The Next Big Local Polio Eradication Event!
With World Polio Day (24 October) approaching, the Next Big Thing among District 5280 Clubs is the Fourth Annual DANCE FOR THE CHILDREN from the Rotary E-Club of The Greater San Fernando Valley. On Saturday, 28 September, 7pm to 10pm (an after-dinner event), at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio on Van Nuys Blvd. in Sherman Oaks just south of the 101, we will dance for the children who cannot dance due to polio...but soon no child will ever have to say that again. Will you "sponsor" us to dance? Your donation to TRF for PolioPlus through our event, as a fellow Rotarian, will of course be credited to YOUR Paul Harris Fellowship totals and YOUR CLUB's giving totals.
Better yet, come dance with us, learning steps that night from an Arthur Murray professional dance instructor (our Club member Sharon Gorrell)--and, as we do, ask your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and enemies to sponsor you for as little as ten bucks.
