Special Thanks To Mel Powell

Congratulations to the Governor's Senior LA Kings Fan, Mel Powell! His devotion to the LA Kings is rivaled only by his devotion to Rotary District 5280. In addition to his service to his home club, the Rotary E-Club of the Greater San Fernando Valley, Mel has been an instrumental part of our District's success this year. Let's just say Mel is the Justin Williams of the District. With an extensive knowledge of Rotary, Mel has been a great resource to both Governor Doug and all of our Rotary clubs. Mel has built ties with a number of Rotary clubs that have merged into District 5280 after having been a part of the former District 5260. Behind the scenes, Mel was a crucial member of the District Newsletter team, imbuing each edition with riveting material and his trademark humor. Thank you for your service, Mel!
