Rotary's Partnership With Vision To Learn Changes Lives

Rotary District 5280's partnership with Vision To Learn is making a difference to children across Southern California, one pair of glasses at a time. At Westminster Elementary School in Venice, over 60 children were provided free eye exams and eye glasses. The school nurse told Westchester Rotarian Nora McLellen that two twin sisters who had severe astigmatism had to sit in the very front of the classroom, straining to see properly. With their new glasses from Vision To Learn, the sisters will be able to concentrate on learning, not struggling to see the chalkboard.
