Rotary Foundation Celebration: "House of Rotary"

EVENT DETAILS: Everything You Need To Know For The Day of The "House of Rotary"! 

 

 

Attire:

  • Casual, but everyone is welcome to wear Mardi Gras colors (Purple, Green, Gold), beads, hats, etc
  • There will be a prize for best "Mardi Gras Outfit"
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended (multi-level venue, stairs, etc)
  • There will be a coat check available

Parking:

  • Valet parking is $10 at the House of Blues ONLY 
  • Self parking is not available at House of Blues
  • Street Parking is FREE on Sundays

Check-In Tables:

  • If you purchased an event ticket, your name will be on the check-in list (these lists have been requested from the clubs)
  • Approach any check-in volunteer and let them know your Rotary club and then Name
  • No actual hard copy tickets are needed

Why We Have This Event- To Raise Money For The Rotary Foundation

  • SILENT AUCTION begins at 2:00pm until 4:00pm (2nd floor)
  • We apologize in advance, NO items will be accepted on the day of the event
  • LIVE AUCTION begins at 3:30pm (Main Stage)
  • GRAND DRAWING (for drawing tickets) is at 5:00pm. Winner need not be present to win. If you are turning in sold drawing tickets on teh day of the event be sure to turn them in as soon as you arrive. Go to Drawing Ticket Table located on the 1st floor, in front of stage. Tickets must be turned in no later than 4:00pm
  • OPPORTUNITY DRAWING (for additional donated prizes) is at 5:45pm. Must be present to win.

Live Entertainment:

  • Traditional New Orleans Jazz Bank- Get ready to "Let The Good Times Roll!"

Food and Beverages:

  • There will be 3 no-host bars located on all three floors-cash & carry
  • "Happy Hour" drink prices offered from 2-4pm
  • No charge for non-alcoholic beverages
  • Appetizers available during "Happy Hour" from 2-4pm
  • Food stations are located on the 1st and 2nd floors
  • Cajun buffet will be available at 4:00pm, followed by dessert
  • Vegetarian selections will be available
  • Coffee will be available when dessert is served

Other Helpful Information:

  • Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00am, Sunday, November 7. Don't forget to set your clocks BACK one hour.
  • We have the whole venue to ourselves so please enjoy both the indoor and outdoor space. All activities will take place between the 1st and 2nd floors.
  • There is plenty of comfortable lounge seating in the House of Blues Foundation Room located on the 3rd floor. No host bar will be available.
  • There is an ATM available onsite
