Philippines Disaster Relief Update

Rotary’s Philippines disaster relief efforts continue to solidify. SAG International Service Marc Benard has been working with a number individuals locally and abroad to deliver aid to the Philippines. The Rotary Club of Historic Filipinotown and their president, Leo Pandac, continue to provide details on relief efforts happening on the ground with their partner club, the Rotary Club of Cebu West, Philippines.
Direct contact is also being made with the chair of the District Committee on Calamity in the Philippines. Within the week, this committee will report back to District 5280 on the assistance that is needed and how we can accomplish these goals. Meanwhile, a storage facility is being secured within District 5280 to house donations that will be shipped to the Philippines. Visit our Philippines Disaster Relief page for more details.
