District Simplified Grants Announced at President's Dinner

At the recent 2nd President's Dinner at the home of District Governor Brad Robinson in Marina Del Rey, the distributed District Simplified Grants for the 2011-2012 Rotary Year were announced.  Altogether 27 grants were approved with 20 checks being issued.  Total amount of grants this year is $67,923.00. “We hand delivered six (6) checks and mailed to Club Presidents. It was a great evening for the Rotary Foundation,” said Chuck Anderson, PDG and chair of DSG activity this year. “A check for the Watts Learning Center for $8,000 has not yet been issued since we are trying to secure three additional clubs to sponsor in addition to Crenshaw Watts.”
