A Request From Governor Doug
Upon returning from our District Conference I received a disturbing email from Club AG Matt Schaff, a member of our Woodland Hills Club. He shared with me that he had made only a few aware that he is a cancer patient, having Stage 4 Liver cancer. He also found out yesterday that he was not a candidate for a clinical trial. So for now, he must wait and hope for a new drug or a new treatment therapy. He tells me that there is an epidemic of people ages 50-70 who are going through this. They estimate 3.5 million in the USA and most don't even know yet. Please, call it prayer, support, encouragement, karma, whatever the comfortable term for you might be, but do it, for Matt and for all other in our Clubs facing health issues. It works!
