829 Pints Shatters
District Blood Drive Goal

(LOS ANGELES) Gov. Chuck Anderson (2008-09) set a goal
of 300 pints of blood for District 5280 Rotarians to donate to
the American Red Cross during his year as governor of the District.

Final results are now in according to Rick Searey, Senior AG
Community Service, and total giving exceeded Governor
Anderson's goal. The final count: 829 pints of blood were donated!  "That breaks down to 491 by district Rotarians and 338 pints by district Rotaractors," said Searey. "Thanks and
congratulations to everyone who participated."
