





Event Waitlist

The 2023 Foundation Celebration is sold out, but we encourage Rotarians to add their names/club to the waitlist. If and when seats/tables become available, those waitlisted will be contacted (in the order they joined the waitlist)
The Foundation Celebration Drawing is a major part of the fundraising for Rotarians and the Rotary Clubs in District 5280. “Every Rotarian, Every Year” is the motto of Rotary International encouraging Rotarians to contribute annually to The Rotary Foundation. The individual goal is a minimum of $100 each year for every Rotarian. Rotary District 5280 has for many years reached higher, for a goal of $250 with 100% participation.
To help raise these contributions, the Foundation Celebration auctions and drawings began over 35 years ago. Rotarians are challenged to contribute while enjoying a special Foundation Celebration event that is different each year and have an opportunity to also win one of five prizes:
- First Prize: $5000
- Second Prize: $3000 (two winners)
- Third Prize: $1500 (two winners)

The drawing tickets are $10 each, or $100 for a book of 12 tickets. 100% of the drawing ticket sales benefit The Rotary Foundation. DO NOT send cash.
Pay By Credit Card:
- Visit Rotary International's Donation Page
- Select "Annual Fund" for your donation and payment instructions
- Print out a copy of your confirmation page and turn in along with your drawing tickets.
Pay By Check:
- Make check payable to "The Rotary Foundation"
- Send check (along with drawing tickets) to either your club's Foundation Chair or to the Rotary District 5280 Office for processing.

Preferred Method: Digital Drawing Tickets
The digital drawing tickets eliminate the need for hunting down printed books of tickets! The digital tickets can be auto-filled with your information and easily turned in (via our Dropbox link):
- Download the digital drawing tickets
- Simply type your info in the first ticket, hit tab, and the entire page aut0-fills!
- Save the file to your computer
- Upload your completed digital drawing ticket file HERE.
- Are you purchasing more than one book of tickets? Simply upload the form again for as many sheets as you're purchasing.
- DON'T print out tickets- doing so will require our staff to re-do all of your tickets.

Hard Copy Drawing Tickets
For those without access to a computer, hard copy tickets are available. Please contact your club's Foundation Chair or the Rotary District 5280 Office at office@rotary5280.org or 310-670-9792 to procure hard copy tickets.

After your members have purchased drawing tickets, it's necessary to ensure they get proper credit for their contributions. Follow these simple instructions:
- Collect checks and/or confirmation receipts (for online contributions)
- Complete the Multiple Donor Form for the payments received
- Mail checks, online contribution receipts and the Multiple Donor Form to the Rotary District 5280 Office:

Silent & Live Auctions

“It All Begins With You!” And that is the goal for each Rotary Club, through its members, to provide at least one auction item and encourage club members to donate many more items. Experiences sell well, as do restaurant gift cards, sporting events, fine jewelry, staycations and, especially travel.
Live and Silent Auction donors receive 1/2 the dollar donation credits and the buyer receives 1/2 the dollar donation credits toward The Rotary Foundation from the selling price. Thank you for your generous support of The Rotary Foundation.
Deadlines:
- Live Auction Items: October 25, 2023. Present items at the Governor’s Visit, mail or deliver items to the District Office.
- Silent Auction Items: November 1, 2023. Items may be delivered to the District Breakfast on Saturday, November 4.
